Hope Mission is set to continue it’s tradition by opening it’s doors for it’s annual Thanksgiving Banquet for Edmonton’s most Vulnerable neighbors, that will serve over 500 people with hot Thanksgiving meals at Hope Mission Centre.

Adeoluwa Adeoye, Senior Manager of support programs at Hope Mission spoke with CFWE as he says with it being one of the three dinners Hope Mission hosts throughout the year, excitement builds towards the banquet from both volunteers, community members and staff at Hope Mission.

Adeoye says the dinner gives the sense of community towards the vulnerable members in Edmonton and to give them a Thanksgiving experience.

Adeoye adds as winter is approaching, Hope Mission continues to need community support both financially and through donations of many kinds including winter jackets, socks, toques and mittens.
