Five Fall 2024 Chancellor’s Medallion recipients join 116 University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) Fall 2024 graduates at the 170th UAPB commencement ceremony on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center. The ceremony begins at 10 am, with the processional starting at 9:45 am.
The UAPB Chancellor’s Medallion is the highest honor presented during the commencement ceremony. The award is given to graduates with the highest grade point average (GPA) in their academic school.
The event will also be live-streamed on UAPB TV YouTube. Dr. James L. Moore III will serve as commencement speaker. As a member of the executive leadership team at the National Science Foundation, Dr. Moore is the Assistant Director for the Directorate for STEM Education.
