The revived route will see three flights a week.
Last Sunday, December 8, 2024, Air France commenced its direct, non-stop route between Paris, France and Manila, Philippines.
According to the French flag carrier, it will mount three flights a week between the two capital cities, coinciding with the reopening of the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris after it was razed by a fire in 2019.
Flight AF 208 will leave Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport at 11:20 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with the plane set to arrive in Manila at 7:30 pm the following day.
Meanwhile, the return flight numbered AF 209, will depart Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) at 9:50 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, arriving in Paris at 5:50 am (the next day).
Air France will utilize A350-900 planes, with the configuration being 34 Business class seats, 24 Premium seats, and 266 economy seats.
The relaunch of the nonstop route between Manila and Paris happens two decades after Air France last took off from the Philippine capital.
