Before diving into Protopie and Lottie, let’s talk about our beloved friend Figma. The tool is great for 99% of our daily design needs, whether you’re crafting UI, hosting brainstorming sessions in Figjam, or even setting a nice-looking press with the new Figma Slides features. Not to mention all the AI madness that turns Figma even more overkill.

Prototyping with Figma is top-notch too. With variables and expressions, we can go deeper into logic-driven design and craft accurate interactions. Figma’s new UI3 also enhances the use of “if/else” expressions and set values in “variables” clearly and efficiently. I would suggest you first read my previous articles if you want to know a little more about advanced prototyping with this tool.
