The singer-actor is celebrating his first decade in the industry.
On Friday, November 29, original Filipino music (OPM) star Juan Karlos Labajo will be holding his first solo major concert at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Titled ‘Juan Karlos Live,’ the singer is expected to perform his hit songs like ‘Ere’ and ‘Buwan’ during the one-night-only show.
Guest performers include Moira dela Torre, Gloc-9, Ben&Ben’s Paolo Guico, and Zild Benitez. ‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan’ season 2 winner Janine Berdin will serve as the front-act.
Kyle Echarri, his co-star in the top-rated 2023 series ‘Senior High,’ will also join him in celebrating his milestone through a virtual performance.
Juan Karlos, then a 13-year-old aspiring singer, participated in the inaugural edition of franchised reality show ‘The Voice Kids’ on ABS-CBN, where he finished second runner-up.
Eventually, he went on to release his studio albums titled ‘JK’ in 2015 and ‘JKL’ in 2017.
He also has done multiple TV shows and movies, with the list led by the likes of ‘Pangako Sa’yo’ and ‘A Love To Last.’ he was seen
This year, he was seen in ‘High Street’ and the Netflix film ‘Lolo And The Kid.’
‘Juan Karlos Live’ is produced by Nathan Studios, owned by actress Sylvia Sanchez who was JK’s co-star in ‘Senior High.’
