Dexter: Original Sin – the Dexter origin series we never knew we needed – has been confirmed for global broadcast by Paramount+ and Showtime.
The series focuses on vigilante serial killer Dexter Morgan’s early days with the Miami Metro Police Department and his transformation into the killer he became by the time of the events of the original Dexter. The new show, set in 1991 (15 years before the events of Dexter), will begin as Dexter graduates college and joins the police force as an intern, with appearances from his father, Harry (Christian Slater).
Young Dexter is played by Patrick Gibson, and there’s a role, too, for the iconic Sarah Michelle Geller.
